اللجنة الفرعية في محافظة البصرة تشارك في جلسة نقاشية لتعزيز دور المنظمات النسوية

شاركت اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب في محافظة البصرة، وبتوجيه من السيد النائب الإداري للمحافظ الأستاذ ماهر العامري رئيس اللجنة الفرعية، في جلسة نقاشية مفتوحة نظمتها جمعية مناهل لتنمية المرأة بالتعاون مع مديرية الشباب والرياضة في البصرة، بعنوان "واقع منظمات المرأة في العراق".

وشهدت الجلسة حضور الأستاذ جعفر الحجاج عضو مجلس محافظة البصرة ورئيس لجنة الشباب والرياضة ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، إلى جانب الأستاذ أحمد الحسن عضو اللجنة الفرعية، والأستاذ صادق الكناني مدير مديرية الشباب، والأستاذ مهدي التميمي مدير مكتب مفوضية حقوق الإنسان، والست وفقية المؤمن ممثلة عن المنظمات النسوية، فضلا عن مشاركة مقررة اللجنة الفرعية السيدة أفراح فالح علي.

وأكد المشاركون أهمية تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين الحكومة المحلية والمنظمات الفاعلة، ولاسيما تلك المعنية بشؤون المرأة والطفل، مع ضرورة بناء جسور الثقة والتواصل، بما يسهم في دعم الاستقرار المجتمعي وتنفيذ محاور الاستراتيجية الوطنية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Participates in a Discussion Session to Enhance the Role of Women’s Organizations

The Subcommittee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism in Basra Governorate, under the direction of the Administrative Deputy Governor, Mr. Maher Al-Amiri, Chairman of the Subcommittee, participated in an open discussion session organized by Manahel Association for Women’s Development, in cooperation with the Youth and Sports Directorate in Basra, entitled “The Reality of Women’s Organizations in Iraq.”

The session witnessed the attendance of Mr. Jaafar Al-Hajjaj, member of the Basra Provincial Council and Chairman of the Youth and Sports and Civil Society Organizations Committee, in addition to Mr. Ahmed Al-Hassan, member of the Subcommittee, Mr. Sadiq Al-Kinani, Director of the Youth Directorate, Mr. Mahdi Al-Tamimi, Director of the Office of the Human Rights Commission, Ms. Wafqiya Al-Mu’min, representative of women’s organizations, as well as the participation of the Subcommittee Rapporteur, Ms. Afrah Falih Ali.

The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening joint cooperation between the local government and active organizations, particularly those concerned with women and children, with the need to build bridges of trust and communication, in a way that contributes to supporting community stability and implementing the pillars of the National Strategy for Combating Violent Extremism.
