اللجنة الفرعية في محافظة البصرة تنظم ندوة حول دور المرأة في بناء السلام

بتوجيه من النائب الإداري لمحافظ البصرة ورئيس اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب الأستاذ ماهر العامري، نفذت اللجنة الفرعية بالتعاون مع منتدى شط العرب ندوة توعوية حول الدور الفاعل للمرأة في بناء السلام، ضمن القرار الأممي ١٣٢٥ وخطة العراق الثالثة الخاصة بالمرأة.

وتناولت الندوة أهمية الدور الحيوي للمرأة العراقية داخل الأسرة والمجتمع وفي مختلف مجالات الحياة، مع التأكيد على مساهمتها في تعزيز التماسك المجتمعي ونشر ثقافة السلام والتسامح والاعتدال.

وأدارت الندوة السيدة أفراح فالح علي مقرر اللجنة الفرعية، حيث أشاد الحاضرون بجهود اللجنة في دعم وإشراك الكوادر النسوية الفاعلة في المجتمع البصري، لما لهن من دور مهم في بناء الأسرة وتعزيز الاستقرار المجتمعي.

The Subcommittee in Basra Governorate Organizes a Seminar on the Role of Women in Building Peace

Under the direction of the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra and Head of the Subcommittee for Combating Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, Professor Maher Al-Ameri, the subcommittee, in cooperation with Shatt Al-Arab Forum, conducted an awareness seminar on the active role of women in building peace, within the framework of United Nations Resolution 1325 and Iraq’s Third National Action Plan for Women.

The seminar addressed the importance of the vital role of Iraqi women within the family, society, and various fields of life, while emphasizing their contribution to strengthening community cohesion and spreading the culture of peace, tolerance, and moderation.

The seminar was moderated by Ms. Afrah Falih Ali, Rapporteur of the Subcommittee, where the attendees praised the efforts of the committee in supporting and involving active female cadres in Basra society, due to their important role in building the family and enhancing community stability.
