اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب في محافظة البصرة تعقد جلسة حوارية لتعزيز الوعي بالاستراتيجية الوطنية
بتوجيه من السيد النائب الإداري لمحافظ البصرة رئيس اللجنة الفرعية لمكافحة التطرف العنيف المؤدي إلى الإرهاب، وضمن تنفيذ الاستراتيجية الوطنية، عقدت اللجنة جلسة حوارية مع العاملين في مشروع تنمية محصول الطماطة بالتقنيات الحديثة (الزراعة المحمية) التابع لمديرية زراعة البصرة في قضاء الزبير.
أدارت الجلسة مقرر اللجنة الفرعية السيدة أفراح فالح علي، حيث تناولت مفهوم التطرف والتطرف العنيف، وأسبابه وآثاره وسبل الوقاية منه، إلى جانب استعراض أهداف ومحاور الاستراتيجية الوطنية وأهمية تكامل جهود المؤسسات في تنفيذها.
وأكدت الجلسة أهمية نشر ثقافة الاعتدال والتسامح داخل مختلف القطاعات، وتعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بما يسهم في ترسيخ السلم الأهلي والمجتمعي، وبناء مستقبل آمن ومستدام للأجيال القادمة.

The Subcommittee for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism in Basra Governorate Holds a Dialogue Session to Promote Awareness of the National Strategy
Under the direction of the Administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, Chairman of the Subcommittee for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism, and as part of the implementation of the National Strategy, the Subcommittee held a dialogue session with the staff of the Tomato Crop Development Project Using Modern Technologies (Protected Agriculture) affiliated with the Basra Directorate of Agriculture in Al-Zubair District.
The session was moderated by the Secretary of the Subcommittee, Ms. Afrah Faleh Ali, who addressed the concept of extremism and violent extremism, their causes, effects, and methods of prevention, in addition to reviewing the objectives and pillars of the National Strategy and the importance of integrating the efforts of institutions in its implementation.
The session emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of moderation and tolerance across various sectors and enhancing community awareness in a manner that contributes to consolidating civil and societal peace and building a safe and sustainable future for the coming generations.
